Beehive Valve Springs combine the latest technology available. By reducing the top coil of the spring it allows for a reduced mass retainer. Additionally, beehives offer a multi-arc (Ovate or Egg Shaped) that allows for the stress distribution of the wire to be equally distributed on the opposing sides of the wire. Combine these features and the result is a variable frequency spring that performs at a higher level RPM over traditional springs. PAC 1200 Series Street Performance Springs are used for to replace or improve on the performance above and beyond OEM engines. These springs are selected when you are upgrading camshafts or doing engine re-builds.
