The Big Switch is a heavy-duty battery kill switch that complies with OSHA 1910.147 Lockout/Tagout Requirements. Protects your vehicle from battery drain, theft, or fire.

Flaming River now offers an alternative to the FR1003 switch for racing with a 15% weight reduction weighing in at only 19.2 ounces! This continuous service 500 amp switch will handle surges of 2500 amps for up to 5 seconds and can be installed on 12/16 and 24V charging systems. Features include a glass filled nylon high impact molded body to accept extreme vibrations an IP65 rated water resistant housing silver plated studs and contacts for corrosion resistance. Switch easily operates with an easy-grip T-handle. Switch includes a light weight corrosion resistant black anodized aluminum bracket. Accepted use by most racing sanctioning bodies including IHRA and NHRA.
