Product Description
Fits Boss 429 and 460 cu.in. Ford V8s. ARP's Wave-Loc connecting rod bolts are made from the same 8740 chrome moly steel as their High Performance bolts are. The difference is the design of the shank. The exclusive and patented waves provide an interference range of .0005 to .0007 for proper rod cap alignment. Unlike a knurled bolt which has sharp edges that can introduce stress risers and promote rod failure ARP's symmetrical waves are smooth and stress free. Galling and scoring of the rod is eliminated because there is only smooth contact and no digging.
